Our Vision for 2026

Ash Battye·Dec 29, 2025· 9 minutes

If 2025 was the year of expansion, 2026 is the year of grounding. The year we stop sprinting toward growth and start standing in the strength of what we’ve built. The year we stop chasing the next big thing and start refining what truly matters.

After a year filled with transformation, rebranding, and incredible momentum, we’ve decided 2026 isn’t about doing more. It’s about doing enough. Enough to serve deeply, to lead intentionally, and to live fully.

Grounded isn’t just our word for the year. It’s our commitment. It’s the reminder that everything we’ve created at Emerald HQ was built for a purpose bigger than metrics, milestones, or algorithms. It’s about people. It’s about purpose. And it’s about building a business that allows us to lead from strength, not speed.

From Growth to Grounding

2025 tested every layer of our leadership. We pushed boundaries, launched new services, rebranded from Career Pursuit to Emerald HQ, and built partnerships that stretched our capacity in all the right ways.

But big growth always brings big lessons. And what 2025 taught us was that growth without grounding eventually becomes chaos. You can only sprint for so long before you forget where you were heading.

So as we step into 2026, our focus has shifted. This is not a year of expansion. It’s a year of refinement. We’re not adding more to our plates. We’re simplifying, strengthening, and embedding everything we’ve created. We’re choosing clarity over chaos, purpose over pressure, and alignment over ambition.

Why Grounded Matters

Grounded leadership means you’re no longer operating from reaction or fear. It’s about leading from intention. It’s knowing who you are, what you stand for, and where you’re heading - and refusing to be pulled off course by noise, comparison, or shiny distractions.

For us, being grounded means being solid in our systems, confident in our decisions, and connected to the why behind everything we do. It’s how we ensure that the work we do inside Emerald HQ not only grows our business but also strengthens our clients, our community, and our values.

Coming Back to Our Why

When we started our business, the goal wasn’t just freedom. It was presence. We built this so we could show up for our families without sacrificing the careers we loved. That personal why still anchors everything we do.

But along the way, another why emerged - the business why. We realised our real impact comes from helping other women-led businesses do the same. To support women who are building their own versions of success, whatever that looks like for them.

Emerald HQ exists to support women to lead their businesses with confidence, clarity, and intention. To help them hire, manage, and grow teams that align with their values and vision. To show them that leadership doesn’t have to mean control, stress, or doing it all alone.

That means every decision we make, every program we build, and every client we support must align with that purpose. If it doesn’t, it doesn’t make the cut.

Our Vision: Grounded Leadership for Women Who Lead

Our vision is to transform how women lead their businesses - with trusted teams, unwavering values, and a life they genuinely enjoy.
We’re not here to teach corporate leadership theories or sell quick-fix hiring solutions. We’re here to redefine what leadership looks like for women who are leading service-based businesses, often while juggling families, clients, and big goals.

We believe leadership doesn’t start when you hire a big team. It starts the moment you decide to build a business that’s sustainable, values-aligned, and human.

Our Mission: Supporting Women to Build Businesses That Last

Our mission is to help women-led businesses grow intentionally - building teams, processes, and systems that reflect who they are and how they want to lead.

We’re here to help you step into your role as the leader of your business, not just the doer in it. Because real growth happens when you stop managing tasks and start leading people.

We don’t do cookie-cutter solutions. We don’t believe in bandaid fixes. We build structure, systems, and support that let you lead with clarity and confidence.

Our Values: Why We Do What We Do

What You See Is What You Get

We keep it real and show up exactly as we are. Clear, honest, transparent communication is non-negotiable. We’ll tell you what you need to hear to move forward, even if you’re not ready to hear it - but we’ll do it with just enough personality that you’ll barely even flinch.
We:

  • Say what we mean and follow through
  • Call things early before they become a mess
  • Keep things simple, clear, and human
  • Show up as our authentic selves

Better Together

We back collaboration over competition, always. Our team works together, and our team works with your team. No egos, no gatekeeping, no talking in circles. Just good people doing solid work, together.
We:

  • Work together as a team
  • Share knowledge and tools, not secrets
  • Co-create with our clients, not control them
  • Believe in strong partnerships, not power plays

Learn It Like You Mean It

We’re here to help you lead, not duct tape things together and hope for the best. That means backing yourself, getting clear on how you want things done, and learning how to build a team that actually works - and works in alignment with you. We’re committed to lifelong learning ourselves, always seeking professional development opportunities to ensure we’re confident in supporting you.
We:

  • Equip our clients with tools, not band-aids
  • Help you lead with purpose, not panic
  • Believe clarity is a leadership skill
  • Commit to our own ongoing professional development

Built for Life, Not Burnout

We don’t believe in hustle culture. We believe in school pick ups and assemblies without guilt, espresso martinis on Thursdays just because, and showing up in person for the things that matter. We’re a work in progress, but our work - and yours - should be flexible, sustainable, and human.
We:

  • Design our weeks and days around what matters
  • Prioritise people over perfection
  • Say no to burnout, yes to boundaries
  • Embrace the occasional chaos of life, own our mistakes, and aim to do better every day

These values aren’t statements on a website. They’re the heartbeat of how we lead, how we work with our clients, and how we live.

Embedding Our 3-Part Framework

Our three-part framework underpins how we lead and how we teach others to lead. It’s the simplest, most effective way to build structure and clarity into every decision.
Know where you’re going - You can’t lead without direction. Knowing your goals and your why helps you make better decisions, attract the right people, and say no to what doesn’t serve you.
Say yes like you mean it - Boundaries are leadership tools. Every yes should mean something. This is about saying yes to what aligns and no to what distracts. It’s about being intentional, not reactive.
Stop doing it all - You can’t scale if you’re holding everything yourself. Document your processes, automate where you can, and delegate to people you trust. That’s how you create time to lead.

This framework isn’t theory. It’s practical, actionable, and the exact model we use inside Emerald HQ.

What Grounded Leadership Looks Like in Practice

Being grounded doesn’t mean standing still. It means being deliberate. It’s slowing down enough to make decisions with clarity, not urgency. It’s choosing refinement over reinvention.
For us, that looks like:

  • Refining systems: Simplifying processes to make them more efficient, effective, and human.
  • Embedding culture: Making sure every team member, process, and communication reflects our values.
  • Staying aligned: Regularly checking that what we’re doing still supports our mission and serves our clients.
  • Balancing growth and rest: Protecting our time, energy, and creativity by building systems that give us freedom, not fatigue.

We’re continuing to create boundaries around our time and the space to lead intentionally. That means working smarter, resting harder, and ensuring that our business supports our lives - not the other way around.

Leading from Grounded Confidence

When you’re grounded, leadership feels different. You stop leading from scarcity and start leading from certainty. You make decisions based on values, not fear. You trust your instincts because they’re rooted in something solid.

This doesn’t mean the challenges disappear. It means you handle them with calm and clarity. You know when to act, when to wait, and when to say no.

For us, grounded leadership means showing up authentically - messy, human, and honest about the realities of running a values-based business. You don’t need to look perfect to lead effectively. You just need to stay true to what matters.

What Grounded Leadership Means for Our Clients

For our clients, grounded leadership means working with intention. It means hiring with purpose instead of panic. It means leading teams that align with your mission, not just your task list.

It also means redefining what success looks like. Sometimes success is scaling. Sometimes it’s simplifying. Sometimes it’s saying no.
We want every leader we support to build a business that feels like theirs - one they don’t need a holiday from, one they can proudly say reflects who they are.

2026: The Year of Enough

This year isn’t about more. It’s about enough. Enough clarity to know when to say yes and when to say no. Enough confidence to stay grounded even when things shift. Enough space to lead, live, and love what we’re building.

We’re stepping into 2026 with clear eyes, calm energy, and solid foundations. No scrambling. No noise. Just clarity, consistency, and confidence in every decision.

The foundation is built. Now we’re standing on it - grounded and solid, ready for what’s next.
